Now, the people who brought you Eclectic Discs bring you Esoteric Recordings, a new identity, but still a home for good music with the emphasis on quality packaged and remastered catalogue reissues and inspiring new works from artists with a history and heritage. Esoteric is an exciting part of a new chapter for label manager Mark Powell that began with Eclectic Discs, and continues as part of the Cherry Red group of labels. Mark said "Cherry Red Records is the oldest independent record label in Britain, born of the glory days of the UK indie music scene of the late 1970's. Whilst their compatriots have either gone by the wayside or have become part of multi-national corporations, Cherry Red have always stayed true to their ideals. It's an exciting prospect to establish Esoteric Recordings within the company and to be part of their continuing story. I'm looking forward immensely to working with Ian McNay, Adam Velasco and all at Cherry Red to develop Esoteric into an identity to be proud of."

The first releases on Esoteric will appear in September 2007 and will feature titles by Rare Bird, Egg, Gong leader Daevid Allen, Paladin, Marsupilami, Big Sleep and a 2CD anthology by British progressive jazz rock outfit Jonesy. In addition the label will be releasing frontline products in the form of the first ever DVD and a new live album recorded by John Lees' Barclay James Harvest at Shepherd's Bush Empire, London in November 2006.

Esoteric Recordings are pleased to announce the release of the album "Strange New Flesh," the debut of the now legendary band Colosseum II.Formed in 1975 by virtuoso drummer Jon Hiseman upon the demise of his band Tempest, Colosseum II was famous for showcasing the talents of Irish guitarist Gary Moore, keyboard player Don Airey, bassist Neil Murray and vocalist Mike Starrs who comprised the ranks of the group."Strange New Flesh" was released by Bronze Records in 1976 and was a masterpiece of progressive rock with jazz overtones. This Esoteric Recordings reissue is expanded to include ten bonus tracks comprising studio demos from 1975 and 1976, including a version of Graham Bond's 'Walking in the Park.' The album comprised two performances of a line-up that featured Edgar Froese, Chris Franke and Paul Haslinger, recorded in Albuquerque in the summer of 1986 and at a special open air concert to celebrate the 750th anniversary of the city of Berlin in August 1987. Released in April 1988, the album was an incredible ambient experience and heralded the end of a stage of Tangerine Dream's career, being the final appearance of Chris Franke with the group. Esoteric Recordings are pleased to announce a new remastered edition of the wonderful 1978 live album by Lindisfarne, "Magic in the Air."  The album was recorded at Newcastle City Hall on Christmas Eve 1977 and was a reunion event which would eventually lead to the band recording their 1978 studio album "Back and Fourth."   The live set performed by the band featured classic tracks such as 'Lady Eleanor,' 'Fog on the Tyne,' 'January Song,' 'Meet Me on the Corner' and 'Winter Song' with Lindisfarne in fine form.

Omnia Opera/Omnia Opera + Red Shift ....import double CD $25.99

Following the release of the acclaimed 3CD Delerium Records anthology, "The Last Daze of the Underground" in February 2011, Esoteric Recordings begin a series of reissues drawn from the Delerium label's catalogue on the newly resurrected Delerium imprint with this collection of the albums "Omnia Opera" and "Red Shift" by Omnia Opera. Formed in Kidderminster in the mid 1980s, Omnia Opera signed to Delerium Records in 1992, first appearing on the legendary "Fun with Mushrooms" compilation. Their self- titled debut album for Delerium was released in 1993. The band enjoyed a loyal cult following and recorded their second album, Red Shift in 1995. The album languished on the shelf for two years, eventually appearing in 1997 on Delerium. Although the group had expanded their fan base still further, performing at Hawkwind's Hawkfest gathering two years in succession, by the time Red Shift was issued, Omnia Opera had dissolved. With the sad demise of the original Delerium label, the band's output for the label became unavailable. Now, after some years, both albums have been re-mastered and repackaged in this collection.

The year 2011 marks the 40th anniversary of Bill Nelson's recording career and to celebrate this Esoteric Recordings announce a new release on their recently launched Cocteau Discs imprint, the lavish boxed set "The Practice of Everyday Life Celebrating Forty Years of Recordings." This is the most extensive and detailed anthology of Bill's astoundingly creative career to date. Over the past four decades Bill has consistently proved himself to be one of Britain's most original and creative musicians, exploring an astonishing diversity of musical styles, consistently pushing musical boundaries and earning the admiration of legions of fans throughout the world and enlightened critics alike. As a guitarist, Bill ranks as a great and uniquely gifted figure, but this eclectic selection of tracks also highlights his work as a singer/songwriter and instrumental composer.  The 1971 album Northern Dream was the first release of his illustrious career. Although recorded on rudimentary equipment at a small Wakefield recording studio, the record was a fine early example of an independently produced album. Northern Dream was championed by the legendary DJ John Peel and paved the way for Bill's future career, beginning with his legendary band Be Bop Deluxe, (a group who recorded five successful studio albums plus a live album for EMI's Harvest label), and the equally innovative Red Noise. Jan Akkerman/Talent For Sale ....import CD $20.99

Esoteric Recordings are proud to announce the first ever UK CD release of the rare 1968 debut solo album by future Brainbox and Focus guitarist Jan Akkerman.  The album was recorded after Akkerman's tenure with Dutch group The Hunters and was issued by EMI's Imperial label in the Netherlands. The sessions saw Akkerman joined by his Hunters band-mates Ron Bijtelar on bass and drummer Sidney Wachtel, with Cocky Akkerman playing drums on 'Slim Jenkins Place.'  The album was a clear indication of the future musical direction the highly talented guitarist was to follow in the band Brainbox and then as a member of Focus. The album featured a hoist of excellent tracks, including a memorable cover version of the Booker T and the MG's classic 'Green Onions.'

One of the great modern musical works, Riley composed this influential piece in 1964, performing it for the first time in San Francisco later that year with an ensemble that included fellow innovator Steve Reich within its ranks. Recorded and released in 1968, this album is now regarded as a major triumph of 20th century composition and has inspired composers such as Philip Glass and influenced rock musicians such as Pete Townshend and Pink Floyd.

Esoteric Recordings are pleased to announce a new remastered edition of the wonderful ambient and experimental work by composer Terry Riley, "A Rainbow in Curved Air." One of the great modern musical works, Riley composed this influential piece utilizing tape loop recording in 1967, performing every instrument himself.  A pioneer of modern music, Riley's all night performances of his work were ground breaking experimental events and influenced composers such as Philip Glass. Released as an album in 1969, "A Rainbow in Curved Air" brought Riley to a wider rock audience. The British band Curved Air took their name from this work and Pete Townshend of The Who was inspired by Riley's music to create the seminal songs "Baba O' Riley" and "Won't Get Fooled Again." "A Rainbow in Curved Air" remains a highly influential creation.

Esoteric Recordings are pleased to announce a new remastered edition of the superb 1969 psychedelic progressive rock masterpiece by Touch. Formed in 1968 by former Kingsmen keyboard player Don Gallucci, the band also featured Joey Newman (guitar), Bruce Hauser (bass), Jeff Hawks (vocals) and John Barnardo (drums). Making their home in a Moorish style mansion in the Hollywood Hills, Touch created an album both experimental and ground breaking in style.  Their debut album was recorded at Sunset Sound Studios in Hollywood and sessions saw admirers such as Jimi Hendrix, Grace Slick and Mick Jagger visit the studio to offer encouragement and support to the band. Tracks such as the epic "Seventy Five" and "The Spiritual Death of Howard Greer" were hallmarks of the album's excellence. Another highlight track, "Down at Circe's Place" gained the band a UK following when it was included on the Deram sampler "Wowie Zowie - The World of Progressive Music" in 1969. Four decades on, "Touch" is now rightly hailed as a masterpiece of the era.

Todd Rundgren/No World Order (2CD Expanded Edition) ....import double CD $24.99

Esoteric Recordings are proud to announce the release of the classic 1993 album by Todd Rundgren, "No World Order." The album was the first of Todd's TR-I series of albums and saw him play every instrument on the album. Featuring material such as the excellent "Worldwide Epiphany," "Fascist Christ," "Day Job," "Property" and the album's title track, several versions of the album were released throughout the World. The so-called "FULL" version appeared first, followed by a "LITE" version which featured alternate mixes and versions of material on the album. In addition a highly collectable mini-album was issued in Japan, "NWO (version 1.01)" featuring mixes and versions of tracks unavailable anywhere else, now long deleted.  This new Esoteric Recordings edition of "No World Order" brings together all of these releases for the first time in a deluxe edition and also adds two rare US promotional remixes of "Day Job" and two ultra rare Japanese remixes of "No World Order" for a total of 37 tracks making for the definitive edition of this album.

Esoteric Recordings are pleased to announce release of a Deluxe 3 Disc CD & DVD set of the reunion concert by the legendary Welsh band Man. Recorded as part of the 25th Anniversary celebrations of the famous Marquee Club, the performance was the official reunion of the group who had come together following a five year hiatus with a line-up of Micky Jones (guitar/vocals), Deke Leonard (guitar/vocals), Martin Ace (bass/vocals) and John Weathers (drums/vocals). Captured by the Rolling Stones Mobile recording studio and filmed by a TV crew, the audio and visual recordings captured Man in blistering form.   The 24-track tapes of the evening's performance have been newly mixed and the video footage has been newly edited to form the first ever release of Man's entire performance of that night on both CD and DVD.  "Live at the Marquee" is a fitting tribute to a fine band and the wonderful musicianship of (the late) Micky Jones, Deke Leonard, Martin Ace and John Weathers and features a performance of classic Man material from beginning to end - an essential addition to the Man discography.  The DVD featured in this set is in NTSC and Region Free format and playable in any country.

Of all of the experimental groups who emerged in Germany the early 1970s, Agitation Free was certainly one of the most musically adventurous. From their beginnings in Berlin in 1967, the band embraced the concept of performing long and free improvisations, experimenting with the use of liquid projectors, slide shows and their own films in live performances. The Beat Studio that Agitation Free initiated under the direction of Thomas Kessler also developed into the creative centre for the Berlin groups Ash Ra Tempel and Tangerine Dream. The sound of Agitation Free featured the pioneering electronics of Michael Hoenig, one of Germany's best musicians when creating atmospheric melodies and powerful-layered soundscapes which both enhanced and defined the band's style. Also featured were guitarists Lutz Ulbrich and Gustl Lutjens whose magic fingers could conjure up exotic Eastern scales or soaring melodic melodies with ease. Drummer Burghard Rausch and bassist Michael "Fame" Gunther were a polyrhythmic rhythm section extraordinaire that propelled the music. In February 2007, Agitation Free reunited to perform a series of concerts in Tokyo with the superb "Shibuya Nights" being the resulting record of those shows. After almost forty years, the five musicians of Agitation Free have reincarnated their creative vision. This says much about not only the music, but the musicians who performed it. "Shibuya Nights" provides ample proof that good music such as this can indeed be timeless.

Norman Haines Band/Den of Iniquity ....import CD $20.99

Esoteric Recordings are pleased to announce a new remastered edition of the 1971 album by The Norman Haines Band, the legendary "Den of Iniquity." Soon after recording the iconic album "We Are Everything You See" with his band Locomotive, Norman departed the group to found this heavier outfit. Joining the keyboard player were guitarist Neil Clark, bassist Andy Hughes and drummer Jimmy Skidmore. One of the most sought after releases of the progressive rock era, "Den pof Iniquity" was the only album recorded by the band and was a dark and heavy affair with superb compositions that included a reworked version of "Mr. Armageddon" (previously recorded by Locomotive), the excellent title track and the epic thirteen minute long "Rabbitls." Issued on EMI's Parlophone imprint in 1971, the album was available for a few short months before being deleted. An excellent keyboard dominated progressive rock album, this Esoteric reissue has been remastered from the original master tapes and includes six bonus tracks, taken from the singles issued by Parlophone and the rare track "I Really need a Friend." The reissue also includes the single version of "Rabbits," previously unreleased on CD.

Esoteric Recordings are  pleased to release newly remastered editions of three classic titles by the legendary Baker Gurvitz Army including their 1974 self titled debut; their second album from 1975, Elysian Encounter; and from 1976, their final album, Hearts on Fire.  Formed by former Gun and Three Man Army members Adrian Gurvitz (guitar, vocals), Paul Gurvitz (bass, vocals) and virtuoso drummer Ginger Baker, the Baker Gurvitz Army recorded three of the finest British rock music of the mid '70s.  Their self titled debut featured such classic material as 'Help Me,' 'Mad Jack,' 'Inside of Me,' and 'Memory Lane,' earning the band a loyal and ever increasing fan base. Banco del Mutuo Soccorso, better known in English speaking countries as Banco, were one of the finest Italian progressive rock bands of the 1970s and along with compatriots P.F.M. were one of the better known Italian groups.  A successful act in their home land, they came to international attention when they signed to Emerson Lake & Palmer's label Manticore in 1975. Their first album for the label, Banco was a fine work and featured reworked material with English vocals that had originally featured on their earlier Italian albums.  Their second and final album for the label, As in a Last Supper was the English language version of their classic Come in un Ultima Cena and featured the impressive track, Slogan.  Both are classic progressive albums and these new editions have been newly remastered and mark the albums' British debut on CD and continues the comprehensive series of releases of the classic Manticore catalogue.

Esoteric Recordings are pleased to announce newly remastered editions of the eponymous debut album by Box of Frogs as well as their second and final album, Strange Land.   The band comprised former Yardbirds members Chris Dreja, Paul Samwell-Smith and Jim McCarty who were joined by former Medicine Head and British Lions guitarist and vocalist John Fiddler.  Their debut album for Epic Records featured special guests Jeff Beck and Rory Gallagher, along with harmonica player Mark Feltham and keyboard players Max Middleton and Geraint Watkins, resulting in a very special album.  This edition also features the bonus tracks 'X-Tracks' and 'Nine Lives.'  For their final album, John Fiddler departed half way through recording and guest vocalists Ian Dury, Roger Chapman and Graham Parker guested.  Strange Land also featured guest appearances by guitarists Jimmy Page and Steve Hackett and includes the bonus track 'I Keep Calling.'   Both titles have been remastered from the original master tapes.

Formed in the winter of 1968, Brainbox was a legendary Dutch rock group that featured star guitarist Jan Akkerman and vocalist Kaz Lux within their ranks.  The band's debut album featured such incredible work as Dark Rose, Summertime, Scarborough Fair and the epic 16 minute track, Sea of Delight.  Inspired by British acts of the day, Brainbox were equal to the talent of groups such as Taste and Jethro Tull and their debut album secured a world wide release by EMI Records in 1969.  Soon after the album appeared, Jan Akkerman departed to join Focus.  But Brainbox continued to record a host of classic singles and a second LP with drummer Pierre van der Linden also joining Focus.  This Esoteric Recordings remastered edition is the first ever UK CD release of the album and features eleven bonus tracks taken from the band's single releases of 1969 and 1970.  Quite simply Brainbox is a Dutch classic.

Esoteric Recordings continue with releases on their new Reactive imprint, dedicated to reissues of classic German rock, with the first ever UK CD release of Psychonaut by Brainticket. Formed in 1968 by Belgian born keyboard player Joel Vandroogenbroeck, the band released their debut album, the extreme psychedelic Cottonwoodhill in Germany in 1971. Breaking apart soon after, Vandroogenbroeck formed a new incarnation of the group with drummer Barney Palm comprising Swiss and Italian musicians.  Psychonaut was recorded in Milan in 1972 and was less intense than Cottonwoodhill but was more cohesive and was an impressive psychedelic rock album, later much sampled by European trance DJs.   Psychonaut is one of THE essential albums associated with the German Psych & Prog scene of the early 1970's and is newly remastered for this release.

One of the great overlooked albums of the 1970s, Faster Than the Speed of Light was the result of a collaboration between legendary Crazy World & Kingdom Come visionary Arthur Brown and his former Crazy World colleague (and Atomic Rooster leader) Vincent Crane.  The album was recorded for the German Innovative Communication label at a time when Brown was also collaborating with German Synthesiser genius Klaus Schulze (assuming the guise of Richard Wahnfried on the album Time Actor, also released by Esoteric Recordings this month. Esoteric Recordings are pleased to announce the release of a newly remastered edition of the classic underground album Ear of Beholder by Lol Coxhill.  Coxhill was a noted figure on the UK underground jazz and rock scene, his saxophone playing gracing recordings by Kevin Ayers (with Coxhill being a member of Ayers group The Whole World) and later on acts such as Caravan. Recorded between July 1970 and January 1971, the double LP Ear of the Beholder gave Lol Coxhill the chance to produce a unique solo work which saw him touch various musical areas, including the avant garde, jazz, rock and more. Recorded in the autumn of 1969, the sessions were an attempt to resurrect the Crazy World by Arthur Brown and featured some classic material. Esoteric Recordings continue with releases on their new Reactive imprint, (dedicated to reissues of classic German rock), with a journey into the catalogue of Eckart Rahn's legendary Kuckuck label.  Kuckuck was responsible for releasing many great albums in Germany in the early 1970s, including the wonderful D by synthesiser and ambient musician Deuter. This remarkable work has been newly re-mastered and was the equal of contemporaries such as Tangerine Dream and Klaus Schulze and was later hailed by Julian Cope in his Krautrock sampler book.  The stunning ambience of the fifteen minute long Babylon dominated the album, but D also went through various moods of fuzzed psychedelic guitar instrumentals and electronic music.  Deuter recorded Aum, his second album, in 1972 which was more ambient than his first work, bringing to mind the style of fellow experimentalists Popol Vuh.  Both are classic and essential works that Esoteric are proud to add to the Reactive label.

Esoteric Recordings announce the release of a newly re-mastered edition of this acclaimed album by Pierre Moerlen's Gong. Mountain/Crossroader - An Anthology 1970-1974 ....import double CD $27.99

Formed in 1969 by guitarist Leslie West and bass player and Cream producer Felix Pappalardi, Mountain also initially comprised a line-up that featured Steve Knight (keyboards) and N.D. Smart (drums). Prior to securing a recording contract, the band made an impressive impact at the Woodstock Festival in August of that year. Soon after this appearance N.D. Smart was replaced on drums by Corky Laing and Mountain began their recording career with their debut album, Climbing, issued in March 1970. Featuring such classic tracks as Mississippi Queen, For Yasgur's Farm and a cover of Jack Bruce's Theme from an Imaginary Western, Mountain established their hallmark sound of powerful rock combined with a more subtle side.  Nantucket Sleighride issued in January 1971 was even more polished, featuring the infamous title track along with Don't Look Around and You Can't Get Away . Later that year Flowers of Evil continued the pattern of success by featuring studio material such as Crossroader and the album's title track along with a side of live recordings. The live side of the band, a notable attraction on the concert stage, was also represented with the album Live (The Road Goes Ever On). Following a hiatus (during which time Leslie West and Corky Laing teamed up with Jack Bruce in West Bruce & Laing), Mountain reformed with West and Pappalardi joined by keyboard player Robert Mann and drummer Allan Schwartzberg, recording the mighty Twin Peaks live album in Japan in August 1973.  Mountain s final studio offering of the '70s was the album Avalanche which saw Corky Laing return to the band.  With the death of Felix Pappalardi in 1983, Leslie West would continue to resurrect Mountain in various guises, but the recordings made between 1970 and 1974 remain the finest work under the Mountain name.  This anthology is the most concise collection of Mountain's recordings to date and features the best of the band's work both in the recording studio and in concert.

Esoteric Recordings are pleased to release a two CD anthology by legendary Ladbroke Grove undergound act, Skin Alley.  This deluxe two CD anthology comprises all of Skin Alley's recordings for CBS Records including all tracks from the albums Skin Alley and To Pagham & Beyond, both sides of a rare single plus all tracks from the band's lost album, the soundtrack to the film Stop Veruschka! recorded in October 1970.  Formed in 1969, Skin Alley were part of the infamous Clearwater stable that included fellow acts such as Hawkwind, High Tide and Trees.  Skin Alley's infectious fusion of jazz and rock was suited to the time and the band became a regular attraction on the underground festival and concert circuit.  Signing to CBS Records in the autumn of 1969, the band recorded their debut album with producer Dick Taylor (former guitarist with The Pretty Things).  Famous for its policeman cover, the album featured excellent tracks such as Living in Sin, Tell Me, Country Aire and Night Time.  Prior to the release of their second album, Skin Alley recorded a soundtrack album for the film Stop Veruschka! about the infamous German model.  A wonderful set of music and songs, the album was shelved in favor of a new set of recordings that was released as the album To Pagham & Beyond.   Re-mastered from the original master tapes, Big Brother Is Watching You is a fine tribute to one of Britain's greatest underground acts of the early 1970s.

The long overdue release of an expanded 2CD remastered edition of the classic 1978 live album "Alive & Well Recorded in Paris" by the celebrated jazz and rock group Soft Machine. The album was the band's third for EMI s Harvest label and featured a line-up of Karl Jenkins (piano, electric keyboards, synthesiser), John Marshall (drums), John Etheridge (acoustic and electric guitars) and new members Steve Cook (bass guitar) and Ric Sanders (violin). The final live recordings to be released by the band during their lifetime, "Alive & Well" was the product of several nights of excellent concerts at Le Palace Theatre in Monmartre, Paris in July 1978. The album was initially released as a single album, although the discovery of multi-track masters of a concert in the archives has resulted in this expanded edition with a CD of additional material recorded in July 1978. The resulting live album was issued as a double LP set on the Jive Electro label the following year to great acclaim. Esoteric Recordings are pleased to announce the release of a deluxe CD and DVD set featuring a newly remastered edition of the classic 1983 album Oblivion by Utopia and the first ever European DVD release of the concert film Live at the Royal Oak, Detroit filmed in 1981.  The album Oblivion saw Todd Rundgren, Kasim Sulton, Roger Powell & Willie Wilcox strike out on their own, funding the recording themselves and in the process producing an album of startling originality.  Featuring such classic tracks as Itch in My Brain, Cry Baby, Love with a Thinker, and Winston Smith Takes It on the Jaw, Oblivion was one of Utopia's finest later albums.  The concert video, Live at the Royal Oak, was shot in Detroit towards the end of Utopia's tenure with Bearsville Records and saw the band in fine form.  The DVD includes superb renditions of Utopia classics such as One World, Caravan, Love in Action and Lysistrada.  In this set the DVD element is ompleted by the inclusion of the 1983 promotional video for the single release of Cry Baby from Oblivion.

Esoteric Recordings are pleased to announce the release of a deluxe CD & DVD set featuring a newly remastered edition of the classic 1993 live album Redux 92 by Utopia and the first ever European DVD release of the concert film of the same name.  Following the release of the album POV in 1985, Todd Rundgren, Kasim Sulton, Roger Powell and Willie Wilcox disbanded Utopia.  Seven years later the group were coaxed out of mothballs to undertake a tour of Japan, during which the band recorded a live album at a concert in Tokyo on May 10th, 1992.  The concert was also captured by a video crew resulting in a live DVD release which accompanied the live album the following year.  Despite a seven year hiatus, Utopia were in fine form.  The album and DVD include fine renditions of classics such as The Ikon, Swing to the Right, Love in Action, Hiroshima, Caravan, One World, Fix Your Gaze and Last of the New Wave Riders.

Esoteric Recordings are proud to announce the release of the album "Vulcan" by the late CHRIS WOOD, founder member of the legendary TRAFFIC and flautist and saxophonist extraordinaire. Recorded just after the demise of TRAFFIC in 1974, "Vulcan" was begun for Island records but shelved in 1978. The sessions featured contributions from STEVE WINWOOD and members of THE WAILERS, along with a live recording of TRAFFIC performing the title track in 1974, but due to a change in musical fashion with the advent of Punk, the album failed to see the light of day. Island boss Chris Blackwell returned the tapes to Chris Wood in the late 1970's. Following Chris' untimely death in 1983 the tapes were passed on to his sister, Stephanie. Now, 25 years later, and after three years of research and preparation, Esoteric have pieced together the sessions in co-operation with Stephanie Wood to bring you "Vulcan."

First ever UK CD releases for these classic albums from the master percussionist and ambient musician - all remastered from the original master tapes.  Stomu Yamashta is a master percussionist who studied jazz drumming at Berklee School of Jazz. In the 1970's he recorded a string of innovative albums for Island Records which utilized the talents of such leading musicians as Hugh Hopper, Morris Pert, Steve Winwood, Michael Shrieve and Klaus Schulze and more, fusing his percussion talents with jazz, electronic and classical music to create an ambient form of music all of his own. His music has been used by the Royal Ballet. His first Island album, "Floating Music" was recorded with the band Come to the Edge, which included Morris Pert, and gains its first European CD release with this reissue. "Poker Dice" and "One Way" were used by Nicholas Roeg in the soundtrack of the David Bowie film The Man Who Fell to Earth. Originally released in 1973 for Island Records, "The Man from the East" was the soundtrack to a fascinating theatre-piece Yamashta presented in Paris and London in 1972. 'Memory of Hiroshima' also appeared on the film soundtrack of The Man Who Fell to Earth (1976) and, with 'Poker Dice' and 'One Way,' has since attained mythical status among fans.   Originally released in 1974 on Island Records, "One By One" was the soundtrack to the racing movie directed by Claude du Boc. This Esoteric Recordings reissue marks the album's debut on CD and has been remastered from the original master tapes.   Originally released in April 1976, "Go" is perhaps Yamashta's finest achievement and also featured collaborators Steve Winwood and Michael Shrieve along with artists such as Klaus Schulze, Al Di Meola and ex-Traffic and future Can bassist Rosko Gee.
