last album with Jimmie Vaughan. For "Walk That Walk", it took the induction of
two excellent guitar players, Duke Robillard and Kid Bangham, to step into Vaughan's

the Memphis Horns.

price. The band's fifth album "Tuff Enuff", turned out to be their breakthrough
album, released in 1986. Thanks to heavy rotation of the "Tuff Enuff" video on

charts. The follow up "Wrap It Up" followed suit, bringing Austin Roadhouse
music to the masses. The follow up "Hot Number" had a hard act to follow in

debut 'Faust' was truly a revolutionary step forward in the progress of 'rock music'.
Originally released in 1971, it was pressed on clear vinyl, packaged in a clear sleeve,
with a clear plastic lyric insert. The black X-ray of a fist on the cover graphically
illustrates the hard core music contained in the grooves, electronics, rock tape edits,
acoustic guitars, musique concrete and industrial angst. The second from 1972 moves closer
to actual song structure, but still remains experimental.

proto-electronica from Germany whose other proponents included Can, Neu! and Kraftwerk.
Producer/overseer Uwe Nettelbeck, a onetime music journalist, formed Faust in Wumme,
Germany, in 1971 with founding members Hans Joachim Irmler (also one half of Cluster),
Jean Hervé Peron, Werner "Zappi" Diermaier, Rudolf Sosna, Gunther Wusthoff, and
Armulf Meifert. Faust IV was originally released in 1973 and is a favourite of many Faust

"Fickle Pickle" were a North-West London-based studio band of sundry producers,
engineers and sessionmen, including a couple of ex-members of the legendary 60s Psych
combo The Smoke. Based at the successful Morgan Studios in Willesden, they had already
recorded under various other guises before adopting the Fickle Pickle monicker in January
1970. In August 1970, they cut an opportunistic cover of Paul McCartney’s ‘Maybe
I’m Amazed’, the most radio-friendly song on Macca’s debut solo album.
Although it failed to register in the UK, it made the charts in Holland, as did their
follow-up, the self-penned "California Calling". On the back of this unlikely
success, they were encouraged to cut an album and the eccentric, wildly eclectic
"Sinful Skinful" appeared in The Netherlands in 1972 on a tiny local independent
label, Explosion. Laden with memorable hooks, mellifluous harmonies, soaring strings and
lyrics of cynicism, wit, and wisdom, it was a killer.

Charting at # 12, "Double Trouble" was released in November 1981 as a double LP:
one LP of eight new studio recordings, and one LP taken from their triumphant show at the
Reading Festival in August. This album was the first to feature the talents of new
guitarist Janick Gers, known these days as a mainstay of Iron Maiden since 1990. The
studio album featured two hit singles "Restless" (# 25) and
"Nightmare" (# 36), whilst the live album was effectively a live greatest hits
set. Now expanded to two CDs, there are bonus tracks on both discs. The studio bonus track
is "Spanish Guitar", a track only ever released as a flexidisc with short-lived
"Flexipop" magazine in November 1981 - this release is the first time it has
appeared on CD. The live disc features five bonus tracks. The first two songs were
recorded at the same 1981 Reading Festival concert and were issued as the b-sides of the
two studio singles.
GILLAN - FUTURE SHOCK (+8 BONUS TRACKS) $18.95
Released in April 1981, "Future Shock" entered the UK album chart at # 2 and saw
the band at their peak. Their cover of "Trouble" reached number 14, and was
followed into the singles chart by "Mutually Assured Destruction" (# 32),
"New Orleans" (# 17), and "No Laughing In Heaven" (# 31), which is
still in Ian's live set. In August that year they headlined the Reading Festival. This CD
features the original album (which included two of the singles) and eight bonus tracks,
including the other two chart singles along with the singles' many nonalbum b-sides. The
huge booklet features all the amazing sci-fi paintings from the original 16 page 12x12
booklet that came with the LP. It also contains a transcription of a short play by Ian
about the nuclear holocaust originally printed in the extremely limited edition booklet
that came with initial copies of "Mutually Assured Destruction".

"Glory Road", released in August 1980 on Virgin Records again featured the
classic line-up of Ian Gillan, Bernie Torme, John McCoy, Colin Towns, and Mick Underwood.
As a result of the band's constant touring, the album entered the UK album chart at # 3.
This was in no small part attributable to the first 15000 pressings featuring a free bonus
10 track album entitled "For Gillan Fans Only", described by Gillan as a 'thank
you' to the fantastic support the band has received from their fans. This release is the
first time that the entirety of "For Gillan Fans Only" has been released with
the "Glory Road" album in a CD package. The two additional bonus tracks were
originally the b-sides of the chart singles "Sleeping On The Job" and "No
Easy Way".

Gillan's opening number in their live act for many years, and "Second Sight" has

"Smoke On The Water" recorded live in Gillan's studio Kingsway Recorders on the
b-side. It appears here on CD for the first time as a bonus track.
